O1G - energy rifle concept

I've just finished this sci-fi weapon design I started a few years ago. Originally I wanted to create a smaller futuristic gun with a really short barrel, but after a long hiatus in the project I decided it would be more interesting to change direction: instead of the smaller weapon I would use the existing components to create a sci-fi assault rifle.
